I’ve never been in the habit of quoting random people, but recently I’ve become a convert of sorts, so the above quote says a lot that I think is relevant in talking about myself.
I grew up and still reside in Central Ohio. Being a mid-western girl definitely makes for a seemingly boring life. Too bad I was born with that unpredictability-gene – others call it ADD – po-tay-toe, po-tah-toe.
Seriously though, my above average ability to not accept status-quot can be squarely blamed on my parents. My dad was your average rebel without a cause, my mom was the over-achiever of the year who happened to like bad boys. Its still a mystery how they got together and stayed together long enough to make 2 children. That’s right, I have an older sibling that I’m NOT going to tell you about, they’d kill me for giving away that much detail about themselves to the “general public.” Sometimes we have delusions of grandeur in my family – that’s all I can say about that.
I love my family. I am single. I have no children, no divorces. A college undergraduate degree in English Literature. I’m drug and alcohol free – never done that crap, never wanted to.
Oh, and 1 major thing I forgot: I HAVE A DREAM! Okay, I have more than 1 dream, but hey, a person without dreams and aspirations is just existing. They might as well be a vegetable in a hospital ward somewhere – no hope for people like that.
